Materials for all applications

Induction-bent steel pipe can be supplied in all carbon, alloy and high-alloy steels used for seamless and welded steel pipe and tubing. The bending process we use also permits the bending of pipe in thermo-mechanically rolled steels - a particularly demanding job in view of the modified microstructure, which places high demands on bending and heat treatment expertise.

Generally, induction-bent pipe is available in the following steel types:

  • line pipe steels including TM grades
  • high-temperature and high-strength high-temperature steels
  • stainless and acid-resistant steels
  • general structural steels
  • fine grain structural steels
  • low-temperature steels
  • case-hardening and quench-and-temper steels
  • steels resistant to hydrogen at elevated temperatures and pressures
  • heat-resistant steels
  • clad pipe
  • duplex steels

The steels can be melted and processed according to German and international delivery conditions and customer specifications. Our experts are happy to discuss your specific requirements with you.

Our close co-operation with the Salzgitter Mannesmann Forschung ensures that the latest findings in materials development and process engineering are integrated into our testing regime.
