Heat treatment
Depending on the material and intended application, induction-bent steel pipes may have to be heat-treated to ensure a uniform microstructure and compliance with the specified mechanical properties. For this purpose, modern annealing furnaces with automatic temperature control are available, in which even very large and bulky workpieces can be evenly heat-treated. A generously dimensioned water tank, large enough to accommodate the largest transportable sizes, is available for quenching.

Pipe end machining
The ends of induction-bent pipe are machined to the customer's requirements:
plain ends
welding edges of any desired shape
externally turned and/or internally machined to the required diameter

Surface treatment
Depending on the intended application, material or customer requirements, induction-bent pipe can be supplied either untreated or with a special surface finish. The following variants are available:
descaling and shotblasting (steel shot or mineral
abrasives, depending on the material)
temporary corrosion protection
anti-corrosion primer coating
plastic coating (e.g. polyethylene, polyurethane, FBE)
lining (e.g. EP flow coat)

Other types of surface finish or treatment are subject to special agreement.
